Sales Engineer Role (for downstream Fine Chemical & Pharma markets) - y8 K$ o. n- i' v2 W0 i  B) g1. + J# P- t+ V) B: d# l1 j  DTo take primary responsibility for sales of dry vacuum pumps and liquid ring & ?4 s/ I/ ~2 H. i 0 V# J) d* k9 yvacuum pumps to downstream fine chemical & pharma customers in China. ' J6 n' R( O4 L5 ]' m7 _2. To research potential customers, make introductory promotion visits, carry out technical & commercial negotiations. ) _& R. z& \3 x0 m1 F 3. To motivate and support appointed distributor(s) to achieve set budget targets. ) `( A8 H0 Q* A- W+ R! u6 z + p; ?! G' N  l( iB. Applications Engineering Role 4. To provide technical, product and applications self support and to customers and distributors for primarily dry vacuum pump and liquid ring vacuum pump systems, but also other process vacuum systems. ! A5 H/ v1 b6 i" B  z- v* X- a5. To select vacuum pumps and propose system design for chemical process vacuum pumping applications. 8 V  t9 O5 g5 f7 u6. * U+ I2 Y& `" O8 ~8 E. B1 @To provide technically correct & commercially valid quotations. 0 ^% T# A+ v1 _2 I Knowledge, Skills and Experience 1. 5 Z6 g  i$ n  X# z2 H/ {A degree level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline. 3 |6 m6 f; j0 w  J1 R) B 2. ) M/ y+ c+ G: e6 G: }Detailed knowledge of vacuum pumping systems, chemical processes or rotating machinery and their applications gained through at least 3 years experience of a similar role. ' g6 ~+ k1 D1 j0 z  g ' ?8 D% b! j  s2 r; w3. 9 V' X3 Y9 O6 Z2 L  I9 `The ability to specify and design a vacuum pump package to meet a given set of process conditions. ( h+ g+ I( ?& x8 ^) d* t+ W4. $ `  _# ?0 o& X; J* u2 IAnalytical techniques and computer literacy. + [4 [# {7 |/ U) \1 E5. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin & English are essential. 6. + x+ ~) `( g8 I2 mGood administrative and personal disciplines to handle multi-task, time- constrained activities, driven by customer requirements. 2 `$ V* Y9 H2 b9 Q8 q1 s7. .
