To take primary responsibility for sales of dry vacuum pumps and liquid ring 4 M5 s& ^- t; T # {3 }3 m6 }% m8 G* l   V( O; i# i; a$ B1 n$ rvacuum pumps to downstream fine chemical & pharma customers in China. 9 W  ^* L& |% j+ f) U2. ; J  ~3 @6 l3 U6 F3 DTo research potential customers, make introductory promotion visits, carry out 9 t  M" M! F7 j6 n   C: s2 D+ ^- i7 k) \+ _2 Q ' G5 A9 S1 g' r" L7 Gtechnical & commercial negotiations. / W- v9 i9 s+ h7 N 3. To motivate and support appointed distributor(s) to achieve set budget targets. . n7 U- c' a' H1 [, N8 Z7 T5 [# Q 2 B/ {* p( S! ~' ^7 IB. Applications Engineering Role   I/ }+ f1 c1 X" ]4. To provide technical, product and applications self support and to customers and distributors for primarily dry vacuum pump and liquid ring vacuum pump systems, but also other process vacuum systems. 5. 1 T/ m3 y4 {; q# s) cTo select vacuum pumps and propose system design for chemical process vacuum pumping applications. 6. To provide technically correct & commercially valid quotations. ) p$ J5 |# L& H: Q/ U" |; u7 ? Knowledge, Skills and Experience 1. A degree level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline. 2. : m6 i# {7 F5 T& rDetailed knowledge of vacuum pumping systems, chemical processes or rotating machinery and their applications gained through at least 3 years experience of a similar role. $ M8 m( b0 @! b4 v9 @. c 3. 7 k" x4 F8 ^  g# h6 a8 v$ lThe ability to specify and design a vacuum pump package to meet a given set of process conditions. * Q$ |# H" A. x% C4. 3 O* a  ]+ k3 F& ^% _( g' b9 V) DAnalytical techniques and computer literacy. 5 ^( D& J4 u1 b/ a 5. 9 G( M' D$ n; L) L" q# b" SStrong written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin & English are essential. ! ~( w- R2 G* h4 A4 h# V 6. Good administrative and personal disciplines to handle multi-task, time- constrained activities, driven by customer requirements. " ~$ M. {" B% g& Y. o9 T 7. Ability to work as part of a team. 8.
