X$ F& R : F# T2 {+ s' {5 u' etechnical & commercial negotiations. 0 N% h* Z0 m3 I ! `7 e. N& y) E$ D3. To motivate and support appointed distributor(s) to achieve set budget targets. B. Applications Engineering Role 4. 9 n! u! n+ `2 {2 ITo provide technical, product and applications self support and to customers and distributors for primarily dry vacuum pump and liquid ring vacuum pump systems, but also other process vacuum systems. 7 m$ r1 ?4 t: `" R) k* E5. / p3 d/ p- t" Y1 ITo select vacuum pumps and propose system design for chemical process vacuum pumping applications. 6. 3 p. \8 N5 U& g! `& PTo provide technically correct & commercially valid quotations. ; X& L) }; q- x' z/ D' v; k Knowledge, Skills and Experience 5 A$ H; E5 P( |- J0 _, ?  d  ` 1. A degree level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline. 7 n' Q2 T/ f0 {2. * b+ d) w; g# _+ g! n; kDetailed knowledge of vacuum pumping systems, chemical processes or rotating machinery and their applications gained through at least 3 years experience of a similar role. * M( f8 {+ c2 S/ _2 ]; H 4 e% `7 w! @, ]& D3. - C6 u. B0 {! Q- M, G3 dThe ability to specify and design a vacuum pump package to meet a given set of process conditions. & X$ ^% n6 ^1 n 0 t7 ^7 l8 Z8 E! {3 Q- @8 j* v4.
