5 F3 E* }( p6 R' ?. L* W' w8 ^-To identify, audit and select new suppliers in China
: q' t) B/ y+ \" ~7 ?+ v9 A8 c) W-Vendor information research, RFI, RFQ, Quotation
-SESPA, risk assessment (Technical, SHEQ)
-Verify and correct engineering specifications with support from UK technical
5 S# u& x/ g6 H4 c-Develop manufacturing methodology & quality assurance plans
-Drive sampling programs
-Develop packing specifications
-CAR investigation and Close-out
0 o- D0 H7 X6 V' p-Support supply from China smoothly into production
-Manage commercial relationships with suppliers in China
1 T" s* C& l( ^0 t-Negotiate with supplier for set up the buffer stock and material inventory if request
-Negotiate with China suppliers for price, supply terms to meet requirement

Knowledge Skills & Experience Required:
" Q! m! b) d% Z& m2 d2 c-University/College degree in commercial or engineering discipline
/ T  I4 `5 i& ^* t1 ]-Sourcing professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in the sourcing function.
% }! f0 V. d' [( F- S- X6 k-Has very strong experience for sourcing machining and iron casting suppliers.
-Clear knowledge of world-class supply chain processes and techniques
-Strong experience of Manufacturing, technical knowledge and quality control
7 w# P. p8 n9 W4 d-Strong experience in managing suppliers both commercially and operationally
-Capable of networking and influencing purchasing strategy across functions
-Search, identify, evaluate & select suppliers to satisfy requirements
5 ?( V) M6 L' q( J8 Q2 _" S-Negotiate prices and terms of supply with suppliers
-Develop and maintain strong working relationship between potential and existing --suppliers
5 g9 a1 U, H8 k8 f' X( u-Drive cost and lead-time reduction programs while improving supplier quality and delivery performance
-Ensure quality assurance systems are set up and maintained to assure the quality of goods supplied from China
6 m" x0 u& q( j6 a+ h. I-Well organised personally with good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Self-motivated, smart, natural negotiator, rigid on discipline, self-starter and a good team player
