Job description:
$ B$ t0 j  k* O0 F5 b-To identify, audit and select new suppliers in China
5 Y) z8 j& A& A+ |4 U0 p3 u% U-Vendor information research, RFI, RFQ, Quotation
4 h% D9 `  b4 u9 M% V* M% u-SESPA, risk assessment (Technical, SHEQ)
7 m+ T4 }7 ~& V$ `& t4 {% h-Verify and correct engineering specifications with support from UK technical
-Develop manufacturing methodology & quality assurance plans
! s) S0 o5 x& C/ y9 }" U% Q0 k# |-Drive sampling programs
4 [+ h% J  D: j( a; T8 h5 y-Develop packing specifications
" b5 c( J. c+ H' P-CAR investigation and Close-out
-Support supply from China smoothly into production
9 j4 y2 W5 z# e3 {& s-Manage commercial relationships with suppliers in China
-Negotiate with supplier for set up the buffer stock and material inventory if request
-Negotiate with China suppliers for price, supply terms to meet requirement

-University/College degree in commercial or engineering discipline
, z& b6 Q' F1 ^0 m' \$ o-Sourcing professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in the sourcing function.
3 ^) p/ G1 i. X7 j( V-Has very strong experience for sourcing machining and iron casting suppliers.
- w9 Z# v$ N: w% [7 R3 a7 y3 w-Clear knowledge of world-class supply chain processes and techniques
% ~, k4 S4 V% o/ o9 ~-Strong experience of Manufacturing, technical knowledge and quality control
' T# C, f9 S$ o4 N; D+ z-Strong experience in managing suppliers both commercially and operationally
6 h7 }% f& r, X; ~: E. n, L) {-Capable of networking and influencing purchasing strategy across functions
-Search, identify, evaluate & select suppliers to satisfy requirements
-Negotiate prices and terms of supply with suppliers
-Develop and maintain strong working relationship between potential and existing --suppliers
-Drive cost and lead-time reduction programs while improving supplier quality and delivery performance
-Ensure quality assurance systems are set up and maintained to assure the quality of goods supplied from China

-Self-motivated, smart, natural negotiator, rigid on discipline, self-starter and a good team player
