-To identify, audit and select new suppliers in China
! U; r1 E; r; d0 J-Vendor information research, RFI, RFQ, Quotation
-SESPA, risk assessment (Technical, SHEQ)
-Verify and correct engineering specifications with support from UK technical
. T8 y8 T, N, g" G( Y-Develop manufacturing methodology & quality assurance plans
-Drive sampling programs
1 y# a2 L6 a/ o6 C-Develop packing specifications
-CAR investigation and Close-out
-Support supply from China smoothly into production
7 U; @, }3 d2 p: M: t5 b-Manage commercial relationships with suppliers in China
- l& b6 C; r, m* `+ z+ h-Negotiate with supplier for set up the buffer stock and material inventory if request
. \9 R: `4 Z# }. h2 @$ G-Negotiate with China suppliers for price, supply terms to meet requirement

( G. p$ @1 v) k3 HKnowledge Skills & Experience Required:
3 I# w0 I4 F: I) I4 {) q-University/College degree in commercial or engineering discipline
-Sourcing professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in the sourcing function.
1 b) W3 A; M' l  l-Has very strong experience for sourcing machining and iron casting suppliers.
-Clear knowledge of world-class supply chain processes and techniques
- [2 r& l  F& |( d+ p- u+ @2 _-Strong experience of Manufacturing, technical knowledge and quality control
8 u' ?4 c3 J* t( m* \-Strong experience in managing suppliers both commercially and operationally
-Capable of networking and influencing purchasing strategy across functions
-Search, identify, evaluate & select suppliers to satisfy requirements
( X4 m( m: Q/ `: A-Negotiate prices and terms of supply with suppliers
-Develop and maintain strong working relationship between potential and existing --suppliers
0 j1 x: O) k( A  ~-Drive cost and lead-time reduction programs while improving supplier quality and delivery performance
-Ensure quality assurance systems are set up and maintained to assure the quality of goods supplied from China
