-To identify, audit and select new suppliers in China
9 }+ k) S/ G0 k6 w( E-Vendor information research, RFI, RFQ, Quotation
+ I. u; q! L# d& C3 G  S6 ]1 B-SESPA, risk assessment (Technical, SHEQ)
-Verify and correct engineering specifications with support from UK technical
$ R/ H3 b0 P* {6 {7 Z4 \-Develop manufacturing methodology & quality assurance plans
( u, Z$ ^% b) ~: a-Drive sampling programs
' d- j9 S4 M& ]4 _+ s' I* u-Develop packing specifications
-CAR investigation and Close-out
) `' I" N+ a0 {8 y-Support supply from China smoothly into production
' c- I0 I3 ^' n6 k' C( f2 s-Manage commercial relationships with suppliers in China
  z* X3 p' }$ N' a-Negotiate with supplier for set up the buffer stock and material inventory if request
( n6 T# L* K9 X6 Z. R7 l) \4 x: D-Negotiate with China suppliers for price, supply terms to meet requirement

: g+ Y  K4 m7 m) A4 EKnowledge Skills & Experience Required:
-University/College degree in commercial or engineering discipline
  @/ O: `* C1 U' A" e" Y1 z-Sourcing professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in the sourcing function.
+ ?* ~- `+ Q& Q" M0 h-Has very strong experience for sourcing machining and iron casting suppliers.
-Clear knowledge of world-class supply chain processes and techniques
: m( {$ Z; \  I7 B- U2 R+ N-Strong experience of Manufacturing, technical knowledge and quality control
-Strong experience in managing suppliers both commercially and operationally
" H/ R; B$ z1 b" O-Capable of networking and influencing purchasing strategy across functions
- Q" ]7 J% ?$ X1 ]5 v7 E# c3 @-Search, identify, evaluate & select suppliers to satisfy requirements
1 \/ P! s' Y) }1 r3 O-Negotiate prices and terms of supply with suppliers
-Develop and maintain strong working relationship between potential and existing --suppliers
-Drive cost and lead-time reduction programs while improving supplier quality and delivery performance
-Ensure quality assurance systems are set up and maintained to assure the quality of goods supplied from China
-Well organised personally with good communication and interpersonal skills.
