Job description:
  g1 P* N9 L, O3 ~-To identify, audit and select new suppliers in China
) a* Z- f; o. q8 w-Vendor information research, RFI, RFQ, Quotation
-SESPA, risk assessment (Technical, SHEQ)
-Verify and correct engineering specifications with support from UK technical
-Develop manufacturing methodology & quality assurance plans
- Z- W2 |& }* z( O" N& T-Drive sampling programs
-Develop packing specifications
$ w. m) t+ s  L4 c- E! [1 q' _-CAR investigation and Close-out
- v# \- P! }+ C( V7 l2 V. ^% Z-Support supply from China smoothly into production
-Manage commercial relationships with suppliers in China
1 T3 K. m2 Q. A* d$ U4 N& B6 @/ Z: W* V-Negotiate with supplier for set up the buffer stock and material inventory if request
% q- R; B% h# o$ V+ H-Negotiate with China suppliers for price, supply terms to meet requirement

Knowledge Skills & Experience Required:
-University/College degree in commercial or engineering discipline
-Sourcing professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in the sourcing function.
-Has very strong experience for sourcing machining and iron casting suppliers.
# _  K& B( q5 r8 a2 j# f-Clear knowledge of world-class supply chain processes and techniques
, j. u3 [3 ?/ I) A& o-Strong experience of Manufacturing, technical knowledge and quality control
  h; r  _1 D- G. h! n# d-Strong experience in managing suppliers both commercially and operationally
-Capable of networking and influencing purchasing strategy across functions
8 K3 J& O! y: R* t-Search, identify, evaluate & select suppliers to satisfy requirements
( p8 Y# ?/ w9 A" i. F3 i  k. f4 q-Negotiate prices and terms of supply with suppliers
-Develop and maintain strong working relationship between potential and existing --suppliers
-Drive cost and lead-time reduction programs while improving supplier quality and delivery performance
-Ensure quality assurance systems are set up and maintained to assure the quality of goods supplied from China

-Self-motivated, smart, natural negotiator, rigid on discipline, self-starter and a good team player
