Job description:
7 g. _$ N9 O# e% j7 ~8 {-To identify, audit and select new suppliers in China
7 ]8 h/ m9 W% t( K" O-Vendor information research, RFI, RFQ, Quotation
-SESPA, risk assessment (Technical, SHEQ)
-Verify and correct engineering specifications with support from UK technical
-Develop manufacturing methodology & quality assurance plans
& l& o4 K$ m, k# V- j-Drive sampling programs
) G* E3 X0 N" F5 B0 }5 b9 P8 ], D-Develop packing specifications
-CAR investigation and Close-out
7 x6 g$ T: q0 Z/ b9 d- V" \6 V-Support supply from China smoothly into production
-Manage commercial relationships with suppliers in China
-Negotiate with supplier for set up the buffer stock and material inventory if request
-Negotiate with China suppliers for price, supply terms to meet requirement

7 d$ R$ X* a" }9 Z$ _Knowledge Skills & Experience Required:
6 Z" |  Y- _/ |6 |2 U-University/College degree in commercial or engineering discipline
-Sourcing professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in the sourcing function.
0 f. A) \  H+ d: L. `-Has very strong experience for sourcing machining and iron casting suppliers.
-Clear knowledge of world-class supply chain processes and techniques
-Strong experience of Manufacturing, technical knowledge and quality control
# K9 b+ D5 _7 ]+ @% g% g-Strong experience in managing suppliers both commercially and operationally
/ v5 Y' _3 }/ Z, U1 ^- f2 L-Capable of networking and influencing purchasing strategy across functions
-Search, identify, evaluate & select suppliers to satisfy requirements
-Negotiate prices and terms of supply with suppliers
-Develop and maintain strong working relationship between potential and existing --suppliers
+ o0 t1 \1 ~5 q, r9 t" u' W-Drive cost and lead-time reduction programs while improving supplier quality and delivery performance
-Ensure quality assurance systems are set up and maintained to assure the quality of goods supplied from China
-Well organised personally with good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Self-motivated, smart, natural negotiator, rigid on discipline, self-starter and a good team player
