-To identify, audit and select new suppliers in China
-Vendor information research, RFI, RFQ, Quotation
-SESPA, risk assessment (Technical, SHEQ)
) F1 [  [/ g, Q! R# S( F+ w/ [! H-Verify and correct engineering specifications with support from UK technical
-Develop manufacturing methodology & quality assurance plans
: I) u, e) c; R/ ]. L& W-Drive sampling programs
-Develop packing specifications
0 v; O' x7 U" l' @) h! o-CAR investigation and Close-out
1 x0 f# k# O+ R-Support supply from China smoothly into production
-Manage commercial relationships with suppliers in China
-Negotiate with supplier for set up the buffer stock and material inventory if request
! l, [, {/ O; B, A- O1 I-Negotiate with China suppliers for price, supply terms to meet requirement

Knowledge Skills & Experience Required:
- F' x' o. @8 \$ p: H-University/College degree in commercial or engineering discipline
-Sourcing professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in the sourcing function.
" J7 m6 K1 v* c# n# H( p-Has very strong experience for sourcing machining and iron casting suppliers.
' \, F$ A7 s9 H) F' S-Clear knowledge of world-class supply chain processes and techniques
-Strong experience of Manufacturing, technical knowledge and quality control
-Strong experience in managing suppliers both commercially and operationally
-Capable of networking and influencing purchasing strategy across functions
-Search, identify, evaluate & select suppliers to satisfy requirements

5 x2 y$ v% M+ k# |' J, M+ Q-Develop and maintain strong working relationship between potential and existing --suppliers
-Drive cost and lead-time reduction programs while improving supplier quality and delivery performance
) A, s  ^& Y/ m( o% G5 e: @-Ensure quality assurance systems are set up and maintained to assure the quality of goods supplied from China
